Romulans use 8 different uniform styles during the TNG/DS9 era. There appears to be no specific pattern for the NEM uniforms, so two styles were created for Kuro-RPG.
The Blue Pips were a Non-canon request made and have since been integrated into the available ranksets. They were a proposed "Reman" system.
