Canon / Semi-Canon, Non-Starfleet Trek Ranksets - Split Ranks These ranksets are split into two separate images: Backgrounds and Ranks. They are designed so a rank layer will 'sit' overtop a background layer (via webpage coding/manipulation). This requires more scripting to accomplish the job, but has the benefits of requiring less website resources and bandwidth. All sets come with a set of background and pip images, unless stated otherwise. These sets are intended to be used with Anodyne's NOVA 3 project. They will also work on Wiki-based sites, if you follow the tutorials provided by Kevin W. All images use an alpha channel to create a fade/transparency, unless stated otherwise.

These files tend to be much larger than their Split Ranks counterparts. These sets work the NOVA 2 project. All images use an alpha channel to create a fade/transparency, unless stated otherwise.
